Registration is under way for the United States Youth Volleyball League spring season at Clover Park in Santa Monica.

The eight-week league will begin in April but participants are encouraged to register by Saturday, March 1st.

The United States Youth Volleyball League is an instructional volleyball league that operates in a co-ed format for girls and boys ages seven to 14.

The league’s mission is to provide every child with an opportunity to learn and play volleyball in a fun, safe, supervised and low-pressure environment. The league emphasizes values such as sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork.

Players will learn the fundamentals of volleyball, such as serving, passing, setting and spiking.
