Lazarus grew up in the foster care system. At the age of 10, he was adopted into a large family with few resources. Yet despite the many difficulties in his home life, Lazarus continued to believe in himself and that his situation would change for the better. It sure did. Lazarus graduated high school, completed a B.S. in Public Relations from Baldwin-Wallace College and is now pursuing his Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at University of Southern California (USC). He works full time in property management as a Licensed Service Technician. He also volunteers as a Youth Advocate with the National Foster Youth Institute (N.F.Y.I.) in Los Angeles.
